Hi there people of the internet. I went to bannockburn last week and my mum wanted me to write about the trip. First we went to the Bannockburn centre but on the way we saw those massive kelpies. For all of you out there who don't know what kelpies are they are Scottish mythical creatures that look like horses. They are the same colour as oil when it mixes with water and they turn into normal coloured horses and prance along the beach. Children climb on to the kelpie and it drags the child under the water. Kelpies have very sticky skin. Anyway back to bannockburn. we went to the visitor centre which was awesome. There was a massive statue of Robert the bruce and this game table in a dark room. This guy called Ned played the game for us but we told him what to do. My sister got to play as the Scottish leader Roberta the bruce and some other guy in our group played as Edward II. The game was fun, the Scots one and Ned had a funny hairstyle. You can find out more about Bannockburn here. Then we went to stirling castle and that was pretty cool. It was just an average kind of castle. Click here for Stirling Castle website.
